The Daily Mess Today You'll Be You

Today you’ll be you. Is there such a thing as I feel it in my bones? An ancient premonition or warning first appearing in a Shakespearean production. Here in the south we say, “It’s cold to the bone.” Meaning that’s pretty cold. Do our bones know? Do they serve as receivers of a message taken as we transition through life? Intuition versus actuality. Those who’ve said, “I love you to the bone.” What if it breaks? Will there be physical therapy? We rely so much on our feelings. Which invites another body part into the picture. I’ve got this gut feeling. The body takes in so much and is often accused of even more. It’s enough to make your brain hurt.
