The Daily Mess Giving You My No

So much going on in our heads. Constantly caught in a thought. Listen to the way people are talking. It's got an interrupted rhythm. One brief conversation covers 3 to 5 different subjects. My father called it scatter brained. Multi tasking. Being pulled in every direction while expecting others to keep up. Learning to say no. I don't see myself growing at my current location of employment because of the way managers are treated. Because of the short supply of a team players they're expected to put in serious amounts of overtime while still doing grunt work. Interestingly enough I'm starting to see change. These department managers and leaders are choosing to leave because it's their way of saying no. The worst fear to hold is the common question. Who is going to replace them?
