The Daily Mess Forgiveness

99.9% of the time I'm only trying to improve a situation and end up getting hurt. The human imagination is constantly working it's way through corporate structures, determining how to bring out ways to a better performance. Only to be silenced. You can't fault the farmer wanting to strengthen his feeding fields. I didn't set out to change radio. I stepped into an industry already evolving. What I violated was the connection between advertisers and listeners. As a writer and producer I vowed to protect that relationship. As an employee that shook the rules of how it really is. I still hear the Operations Manager telling me that it's not about the listener. It's about the money. My reaction was forgiveness. In a moment of my beliefs and leadership being called wrong my choice was to forgive him.
