The development of steps. To the right. Left. Now two steps back. Where do you stand now? Physical moment versus mental delivery. How we see ourselves versus actuality. That’s the part of the interview I find no faith in. When they ask, “Where do you see yourself in five years?” Really? I want to reply “It depends on this company. I have to trust that you’ll still be in business and where along the line you’ve made the right choices to properly pay respect to the people making you money.” But you can’t say stuff like that. You’ve got to go politically correct by giving them what they want, “In five years I’ll probably be on my 10th Covid booster shot and our strength as a team will ignite faith in the process every day.” The development of steps. Is there anyone that properly predicted where they are today? Show me that college grad that’s doing exactly what they went to school for. To get there required what steps? How often were they well off the beaten path? I got into radio at the age of 14 to be _________. Never made it. At the same time I would’ve never predicted the place of victory where I presently stand. It’s required steps. Stop running. Walk your way through the story. The adventure is being handed to you.
