Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. is the reigning AEW Women’s World Champion, and is the only fully licensed and practicing dentist in the professional wrestling industry. She made her professional in-ring debut in 2015 while enrolled in the University of Pittsburgh’s School of Dental Medicine. In January 2019, Britt became one of the first women signed to AEW and has since become one of the most recognizable and popular faces of the AEW Women’s Division. Dr. Britt Baker became AEW Women’s World Champion on May 30, 2021, at the Double or Nothing event in Jacksonville, FL, when she defeated Hikaru Shida by submission, putting an end to Shida’s historic 372-day reign as champion.
