The season finale of Tyler Perry’s Sistas airs on Wednesday, March 31st. The one-hour drama follows a group of single black females as they navigate their “complicated love life,” careers and friendship through the ups-and-downs of living in a modern world of social media and unrealistic relationship goals. Tyler Perry takes viewers on an exhilarating ride of emotions and gut-busting predicaments that will test the ladies’ long-standing friendship. This band of women, intertwined with their newfound relationships, must navigate this new-age dating scene as they continue to search for love in their 30’s. The talented ensemble cast of “Tyler Perry’s Sistas” includes KJ Smith, Mignon, Ebony Obsidian, Novi Brown, Chido Nwokocha, DeVale Ellis, Brian Jordan Jr., Kevin A. Walton, Anthony Dalton II, Trinity Whiteside, and Crystal Renee’ Hayslett. In the season finale episode titled, “In the Shadows,” Gary and Andi consider taking a big and scary step. Fatima kicks her new love interest out of her house. Sabrina enjoys the company of a new man.

One of Hollywood's rising stars, KJ Smith, has earned rave reviews for her breakthrough role in Ava Duvernay and Oprah Winfrey's innovative drama series Queen Sugar. She has quickly become one to watch. Smith challenges herself role after role; providing spectacular performances as Kori Rucks on Dynasty and Angela on The Fosters. Smith singlehandedly disappeared into the script as a mother in rehab. She was able to mesmerize the audience in every scene. Smith is currently starring in Tyler Perry's comedy-drama series Sistas on BET, as high-powered attorney Andi Barnes. The show follows her navigating her complicated love life with the help and advice of her close-knit girlfriends. Smith also stars in Netflix’s Fatal Affair, alongside Nia Long and Omar Epps.

Novi Brown stars as “Sabrina.” The Berlin, Germany native has been traveling the world since in the womb. Through her many adventures, she derived a special joy for storytelling, which lead her to the arts. After high school, seeking to continue developing her craft, Novi enrolled in a Bachelor of Theatre Arts at The City College of New York. She graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2011. It was in college that her modeling career began to take off, helping her land international contracts. With her eye on the next stage in her career, Novi moved to Los Angeles to produce her own content and to focus fulltime on performing. She is also an avid photographer. Her passion for photography has led to her work being published by outlets such as Essence Magazine, Scholastic, The Lifetime Movie Network, UP! TV, ID Channel, HBO Shorts, and E! Networks.
