KJ Smith and Ebony Obsidian Are Back From Tyler Perry's Sistas Season 2

Tyler Perry’s Sistas became appointment viewing during its first season on BET. The hit series follows a group of single black females as they navigate their complicated love lives, careers and friendships through the ups and downs of living in a modern world of social media and unrealistic relationship goals. Now, the highly anticipated second season – premiering Wed., Oct. 14 on BET -- picks up right where it left off, with an exhilarating ride of emotions and gut-busting predicaments that test the ladies’ long-standing friendship as they continue to search for love in their 30s.

Tallahassee native KJ Smith stars as Andrea “Andi” Barns. Her numerous credits include roles in Dynasty, Oprah’s Queen Sugar, Black-ish and Madea’s Family Funeral. KJ is an enthusiastic supporter of the Cerebral Palsy Foundation as a nod to her father, who was stricken with Cerebral Palsy his entire life.

From New Paltz, NY, Ebony Obsidian stars as Karen Mott. Michelle can also be seen as Michelle in the Netflix series Master of None and Adrienne in the Oscar-Winning film If Beale Street Could Talk. Ebony can also be seen as Nia in the Hulu series Wu-Tang: An American Saga and Carol in Amazon’s The Hunt.
