The one-hour drama follows a group of single black females as they navigate their complicated love lives, careers and friendships through the ups-and-downs of living in a modern world of social media and unrealistic relationship goals. Tyler Perry takes viewers on an exhilarating ride of emotions and gut-busting predicaments that will test the ladies’ long-standing friendship. The talented ensemble cast of Sistas includes KJ Smith, Mignon, Ebony Obsidian and Novi Brown. In the season finale episode titled “In the Shadows,” Gary and Andi consider taking a big and scary step; Fatima kicks her new love interest out of her house, and Sabrina enjoys the company of a new man.

On March 30, two of the men of Tyler Perry’s Sistas – Devale Ellis and Trinity Whiteside – can offer the male perspective about this season’s events. Devale Ellis plays Zac, the on-again/off-again boyfriend to hard-working and ambitious Karen. Devale is a former NFL wide receiver (with the Detroit Lions) and appeared in popular shows including NCIS, The Blacklist and Netflix’s Emmy Award-winning It’s Bruno. He’s also the co-host of “Dead Ass With Khadeen & Devale,” a podcast he created with his wife to discuss love, marriage, parenting and everything in between from a millennial perspective. The podcast remains in the top 10 on Apple charts with more than 5.5 million downloads!

Trinity Whiteside plays the shy, charming cowboy hat-wearing Preston Horace, a new love interest for Danni (Mignon). But Danni’s strong will and abrasive personality causes tension with her new beau Preston as they get to know each other on a deeper level. Trinity began his acting career in 2013, gracing the screens of such hit shows as BET’s The Game, The Originals on CW, and feature films Barbershop 3, and The Fate of The Furious.
