Tracy McMillan From Family Or Fiance On OWN

OWN’s hit series Family or Fiancé heats up the summer with an all-new season beginning Saturday, July 17. In the series – which last summer ranked #1 in its time slot across broadcast and table with African American women – couples and their disapproving families are brought together under one roof for a series of activities designed to strengthen bonds, explore differences, and see their relationships in a new way.

Relationship coach Tracy McMillan returns to work with engaged couples desperately seeking the blessings of their loved ones. The couples will navigate relationships between mothers and daughters, sisters and brothers, broken families, tragic loss, and non-traditional marriages. At the end of three days spent together completing tasks and coaching sessions, the families will decide whether they can bless these unions, or if their reservations and concerns about the marriages will persevere. Then, the couples must decide whether they will choose their family or their fiancé when planning their future.

In addition to discussing the show and some of the unique situations viewers can expect, Tracy McMillan can offer her suggestions on what to do if your family disapproves of your partner – or how you can make inroads with the in-laws if you’ve been on the outs.
