Captain’s Log, Star Date 48632.4

The Apocalypse Video Trek Cast is about to complete the first leg of its 178 part journey. And it is with great reluctance that I turn over the duties of Captain, albeit temporarily, to Ensign Michael as he prepares for his first assignment as Host of the Podcast – I can only hope that he does not emulate the command style of William T. Riker, lest we crash the show into a barren planet…

I’m your (real) host, Dave, and joining me as we activate our emotion chips are fellow Trekkies Mike and Jackie.

Topics covered in this assignment include a possible explanation as to why the Enterprise is the only ship in the quadrant (...again); the Academy Award nominated cinematographer of the film teaches us that scenes are more dramatic when everything is super dim; and finally, we shake our heads at Picard's utter indifference at the total destruction of the beloved Enterprise-D.

The Apocalypse Video Trek-Cast will return as we go back to the beginning of The Next Generation with Season One. (Let’s hope we’re not watching that racist one with Tasha Yar…or the one where everyone’s drunk – who am I kidding, they’re all pretty bad)
