Can you feel it, folks? Summer Movie season is right around the corner and that can only mean one thing – the return of Hot Dave’s Summer Film Fest!!! But after enduring weeks of bitterly freezing indie dramas in Stone Cold Ryan’s Winter Film Fest Federation, some of us at the store have forgotten what it feels like to feel the warm breeze of an explosion or the refreshingly cool splatter of a well executed blood squib. But never fear, dear listeners, your trusty video store manager Dave has just the cure for those winter blues. And let’s just say…it’s open season on all suck-heads.

I’m your host, Dave, and joining me are fellow cinephiles and vampire familiars Mike, Jackie, and Nick “Immortan Hoof”.

Listen as we discuss the real movie that rejuvenated the comic book genre (that’s right, suck it X-Men! You too, Spidey!); we wonder if Deacon Frost is the most goth villain of all time; and finally, we’ll talk bafflingly terrible alternate TV edits and the importance of a good ending.
