NewsBytes - 03-04-17 FCC Seeks Comment on NEAD 911 Location Database
The FCC Public Safety and Homeland Security Bureau seeks comment on the privacy and security plan of the National Emergency Address Database (NEAD) that is intended to be used for indoor location accuracy, NEAD, LLC will manage this information which will include MAC, BT PDA and location information for public and private access points to act as beacons for indirr location accuracy improvements.
