Azerbaijan: Imadaddin Nasimi - Matyr of The Hurufi
Imadaddin Nasimi wrote heretical poetry in 14th century Azerbaijan. Despite being banned, his altruistic poetry was incredibly
popular and helped give rise to the Azerbaijani language.
