As a child in the late 1930’s, Carmen P. Rodriguez trained at the traditional Spiritualist Temple operated by her father in Cuba, and continues her spiritualist work to this day. She is a Lukumi priestess of 42 years to the Orisha Yemaya, and a founding member of the Church of the Lukumi Babalu Aye.  Joining Carmen on the show and providing translation will be Oba Oriate Ernesto Pichardo, Lukumi Elder and president of the Church of the Lukumi Babalu Aye.
