Kitchen Medicine: Bitters and Dandelion Green Pesto

I\\u2019m talking all about bitters and how we can put our taste buds in rehab with dandelion green pesto.

Dandelion Green Pesto Recipe: get the recipe HERE

(adapted from Marcella Hazan\\u2019s Essentials of Classic Italian Cooking and Deb Soule\\u2019s How to Move Like a Gardener)

2 1/2 cups fresh partially chopped dandelion greens

1/4 cup basil leaves

1/4 cup cilantro leaves

2-4 cloves garlic

2 tablespoons walnuts

2 tablespoons pine nuts

1/4 teaspoon salt

3/4 cup olive oil

\\u2153 cup Romano cheese, grated

4 tablespoons butter, softened to room temperature

Blend all together in food processor until smooth. Stir in cheese and butter by hand.
