[Close reading] After the dead end of his attempt to recover the Visionary Gleam, Wordsworth gives up the Intimations Ode for a couple of years. \xa0Then he reboots, imagining a different source for the clouds of glory that he saw in youth, since "Our birth is but a sleep and a forgetting." \xa0We begin considering this new, Platonic perspective.
