We\\u2019ll also give you some alternatives.\\nHere are some common acronyms in English when we send text messages:\\n\\xa0\\nLOL (\\u201cLaughing out loud\\u201d)- A lot of people get annoyed by this one. This could be used in a text message. A good alternative is \\u201chaha\\u201d\\n\\n\\nTTYL (\\u201cTalk to you later\\u201d)- This one also sounds really young. A more mature alternative is \\u201ctalk soon\\u201d or \\u201ctalk to you soon\\u201d or actually writing out \\u201ctalk to you later\\u201d\\n\\nSMH (\\u201cShaking My Head\\u201d)- This is a newer acronym. You can use this when you disapprove of something that someone has done.\\n\\nOMG: (\\u201cOh my gosh\\u201d)- This can also be annoying.
