“I love what I do. I didn’t know any of these jobs existed a few years ago. I didn’t know I could be a podcaster, I didn’t know I could be a race announcer. Now that I’m not only doing them, but I feel really fulfilled…and I know that can be fleeting. So I’m really basking in it.”
After more than 700 days, the TCS New York City Marathon was back this weekend! And I had the best week ever — without even running the marathon! On this episode, I'm talking all about my week in New York City, where I did my best to master the balance between work and pleasure. (I'm giving myself a solid A+ on that assignment.) I talk (in excessive detail) about all of the work and all of the play, from live shows and finish line race announcing to earning a new 5K PR, galavanting around the city, and seeing as many friends as possible. And, unsurprisingly, I shed a few tears along the way.
