b'Why do people not care about politics? Are they mindless sheep? It is sad and unbelievable how many registerd voters care more about American Idle rather than their country. In a small street survey, less than 80% of those \\xa0in the street survey even knew who the Vice President of the United States was. \\xa0It is sad but it seems that people find politics less interesting than even \\xa0a singel or multipal issues that directly impact their life; it is sad but I guess I would say they are more interested in entertainment and gossip that is being force fed down their thoats by the Lame Stream media. America suffers from apathy. Amerians are so lazy and caught up in things like American Idol and Britney Spears that they forget that such things are trivial and should not be placed before country. \\xa0How do we change that mindset?
