Papandrea is an award-winning author and Professor of Church History and Historical Theology, as well as the Theological Consultant for the EWTN Television series,\\xa0The Heresies. His many books have been translated into multiple languages, and he has a significant presence online, including his YouTube series,\\xa0The Original Church, and as the founder of The Original Church Community on\\xa0Locals.com. Baptized Catholic, confirmed Lutheran, ordained Methodist, the Church fathers brought him back to the Catholic Church of his Italian heritage. Now a Catholic layperson and catechist, Jim has an M.Div. from Fuller Theological Seminary, and a Ph.D. from Northwestern University in the history and theology of the early Christian Church, with secondary concentrations in New Testament interpretation and the history of the Roman Empire.\\xa0 He has also studied Roman history at the American Academy in Rome, Italy.\\xa0He is on the faculty at Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary, and is recognized for his ecumenical work on behalf of the universal Church.
