Rodney King
This episode briefly recounts the events of March 3, 1991, in which Rodney King was brutally beaten by several LAPD officers. This is the first event of its kind to be video recorded, and for the video to go viral. Police brutality is not uncommon but for it to be recorded and shared before the "technological revolution" is unheard of and sets the precedence for getting justice against the bad apples of the police force.
