A BATTLE WITHIN is about our life experiences and those of our guests living with and healing from Traumatic Brain Injuries with an emphasis on the Post Concussion Syndrome otherwise known as (PCS)\\xa0

Vanessa's TBI journey started with a bicycle accident while on vacation in Italy. She takes us through the journey of trying to get treated with a language barrier and with the need to stay abroad for an extended period of time while her 3 children are home in Canada. \\xa0

Like many in this community, this trauma has Vanessa re-evaluate things and she goes on to become a life coach and has written a book to help others in their own journey.

Vanessa provides her perspectives on finding the new version of herself, tells us about her quest and offers some really good thoughts on the ways we talk to ourselves.
