A BATTLE WITHIN is about our life experiences and those of our guests living with and healing from Traumatic Brain Injuries with an emphasis on the Post Concussion Syndrome otherwise known as (PCS)\\xa0

Nicole reached out to us to offer to tell the story of her husbands injury. As someone in the Battle Buddy role she feels it important to share to help others.\\xa0

She has had tremendous support of from her family and tells us very candidly about the journey and what these past 6 months have been like.

Imagine going through Covid-19 and a TBI at the same time. It cannot be easy. Nicole tells us about how life changed in a moment and why it was so important to follow her husbands lead in the recovery process.

She also talks about the importance of getting to acceptance as quickly as you can as a Battle Buddy, that it actually makes things better.
