Anu Chouhan is a Punjabi-Canadian illustrator from Vancouver. Growing up, she always knew she wanted to pursue an artistic career and spent a lot of time learning about animation, while drawing inspiration from video games, fashion, anime, bollywood movies, and nature. Upon completion of her Bachelor of Arts degree, Anu received a Commercial Animation diploma and worked as a mobile game artist for several years. During that time, she began sharing her artwork online under the name @anumation. Her unique, edgy, and empowering art which often depicts girls and women of South Asian descent has garnered attention on social media from major publications, brands, and celebrities from around the world.
