The history of President Abraham Lincoln begins with his birth in Kentucky and his fond memories of growing up on Knob Creek in what was in 1816 Hardin Co, Kentucky. The valley remains as it was then, a beautiful place to grow up and this area shaped the future President in his thinking and impacted his belief about people and freedom.
