Al-Isra\u2019 (Arabic: \u0627\u0644\u0625\u0633\u0631\u0627\u0621, al-isr\u0101\u02bc; meaning: The Night Journey) is the 17th s\u016brah of the Quran, with 111 verses (\u0101y\u0101t). Isra, in verse 1, refers to the "night-journey" of the prophet Muhammad (S). This sura is part of a series Al-Musabbihat surahs because it begins with the glorification of God.
