Take a look at the chart of New Gold year to date. Shares are up about 100%. Other companies to consider are Sibanye Gold (SBGL) and Randgold (GOLD). For a different take on the miners, consider Royal Gold (RGLD). It’s not actually a miner. It makes its money through royalties and streaming from gold mines around the world.
