Surah 21 Al Anbiya verses v34-36 Session 9 The Messenger ﷺ thinks of his Ummah as he is ready to depart the world, verse 34 is revealed. Whilst with Abu Mowabiya (ra) The Messenger ﷺ is given a choice of life or to meet His Lord. Surah 110 verse 1 was revealed first, later on the entire Surah (3 verses) was revealed. This refers to the fact that The Messenger ﷺ will soon depart to Meet His Lord. The soul does not die but tastes death, this is the separation from the body & soul (v35). 5 reasons to explain the wording 'Pure Deeds' NOT the Most amount of Deeds (Surah Mulk). Abu Jahl mocks The Messenger ﷺ causing the anger of Abu Sufiyan (ra) (v36).
