Sa'ad ibn Abi Waqqas (ra), The Cavalier Session 17 If special station is granted to those present at Badr, then what is awarded to those who participated? The 1st martyr of Badr is Muhjah (ra), the chief of martyrs in Badr and the 1st amongst this ummah called to paradise. Surah 29 verses 1-3 is revealed regarding Muhjah (ra). Ubaydah ibn Harith (ra) the cousin of Rasulullah ﷺ also was martyred. He comforts Rasulullah with his final words at His ﷺ blessed feet. Ubaydah's (ra) widow marries the Messenger of Allah and becomes the Mother of the believers.
