Ramadan #21 2022 Surah 4 An Nisa Verses 156-157 Bani Israel slander Mariam (as), in effect ridiculing Allah SWT.  S24 v23 refers to the slander of Ayesha (ra) yet applies to all believing women. ‘To slander a pious women is sufficient to ruin the good deeds of 100 years.’ The sarcastic boast of Bani Israel, “…we killed Isa (as) the messenger…” Isa (as) was unconscious as he was raised up, he (as) was told to return to Mariam (as) as no one cries like she does no one suffers like she does. Isa (as) returns after 7 days, Mariam (as) is still crying at the cross, she (as) looks at her son and asks, Is it you ?  Isa (as) replies My Lord raised me and nothing but good has come to me..., O mother call the disciples...they were sent them as messengers to spread the true message in the lands. Mariam (as) lived 6 years after her son (as) was raised, she was over 50 when she passed away. Different opinions as to where Mariam (as) is buried, Jerusalem, Ephesus, Damascus.
