The gospel most of us have been taught that it began in what is called the New Testament but the scriptures reveal that it began in the beginning. The gospel was preached to Israel in the wilderness but they did not obey the word preached to them by Moses. Because of this they could not enter into the Promised Land. The gospel began in the beginning. The gospel is basically Yahweh's laws and Commandments. YHWH'S laws and Commandments when obeyed will produce life and blessing. Every commandment obeyed has a promise connected to it of blessing. That is the gospel or the good news. From the beginning it was for those who would believe and obey. For Israel and for the Sojourner as well. Just like it is today.
