So early this spring \u2013 you probably heard \u2013 that both OPEC and Russia announced a massive oil supply cut, totaling 1.6 million barrels per day. This, of course, raises fears of a resurgence of inflation\u2014and to no one\u2019s surprise, oil prices jumped $7 a barrel on the news\u2014as well as continued deterioration of the dollar\u2019s status as the world\u2019s reserve currency. If you\u2019ve filled your car with gasoline lately, you\u2019re still feeling the pain from these inflated gas prices and our government\u2019s bad policies. So for today\u2019s podcast, I found some radio addresses delivered in 1977 and 1979 \u2013 yes, by then Governor Reagan \u2013 with a perspective I think you\u2019ll appreciate.
