We sometimes forget things like where we put our keys, parked our car, or even why we walked from one room into another. Forgetting these types of things might cost us time, make us late, or cause us and others to be frustrated. Likewise, we can be spiritually forgetful, forgetting important things like who God is, what God has done and said, who we are and what God has called us to do. Forgetting these important truths is spiritually dangerous and leads to sin. For this reason, there is a repeated call in scripture for God\u2019s people to remember. Psalm 78 teaches us to practice the spiritual discipline of remembering so that we don\u2019t repeat the same sins of previous generations who went before us.
