The Innocent Sufferer
This individual lament starts with David speaking of his suffering abandonment by God and ends in a worldwide assembly of God\u2019s people bowing before Him in worship. In it, David reminds us of God\u2019s faithfulness to His people and it points toward His ultimate deliverance through Christ, the perfect, sinless, innocent sufferer and sacrifice. We will ask ourselves how we are to trust God even in the most difficult of times filled with pain and anguish, and to be reminded that our ultimate answered prayer comes in knowing Him, receiving His forgiveness, and being with Him for eternity in heaven.
