Jesus knew that it would be in the city of Jerusalem where he would be betrayed, arrested, crucified, and then die to atone for our sins. But instead of avoiding Jerusalem, Luke tells us twice that Jesus set his face to go to Jerusalem\u2026 why? Why would Jesus be determined to go to the very city where he would suffer and die? Because Jesus Christ valued something and someone more than he valued comfort, safety, even his own life. All those who follow Jesus must do the same, we must value something and someone more than comfort, safety, even our own life.
