2 - The Triumphal Entry Mark 11:1-11

At the beginning of the Passover week, in fulfillment of Old Testament prophecy, Jesus enters Jerusalem riding on a donkey. The people hail him as their Davidic messiah, laying their cloaks and leafy branches on the ground with shouts of \u201cHosanna!\u201d In a culture that does not see, we acknowledge Christ as our Messiah and affirm that one day all people will recognize Jesus for who he truly is.

1. Jesus knew who he was (vs. 1-3)
2. Jesus wanted them to see (vs. 4-6)
3. They saw but did not recognize (vs. 7-10)
4. The Savior had come (v. 11)
