While the disciples continue to struggle to understand Jesus, Jesus encounters a blind beggar named Bartimaeus. Bartimaeus declares his faith in Christ and asks for his sight to be restored. Jesus heals Bartimaeus and, in doing so, continues to point the disciples to his gospel mission. When our friends and families fail to recognize Jesus for who he is, we ask in faith for God to grant them sight.
