Getting Burned
We like to describe ourselves as optimists. We like people to believe we are positive and see the best of what’s around us. But as we gain more life experience, our optimism can dwindle. It can even be replaced completely by cynicism. This Easter, we begin a new worship series that looks at challenges everybody faces but nobody sees coming. This first obstacle, cynicism, didn’t escape even the disciples. But that didn’t stop Jesus from working in their lives.
