These verses vividly depict the importance of listening to the voice of wisdom. \xa0 Verse 1-3: \u201cListen as Wisdom calls out! Hear as understanding raises her voice! On the hilltop along the road, she takes her stand at the crossroads. By the gates at the entrance to the town, on the road leading in, she cries aloud.\u201d These verses personify wisdom, portraying her as a lady standing prominently at the crossroads and gates, crying out for attention.
