Welcome to Wisdom-Trek with Gramps! I am Guthrie Chamberlain, and we are on Day 2073 of our Trek. Establishing good habits is imperative for living a Godly life and one habit I have practiced nearly every day for the past 45+ years of my adult life is to read the chapter in the book of Proverbs that corresponds to the day of the month. This single habit has been the catalyst for gaining wisdom and creating a living legacy. Adopting this habit can do the same for your life. The realization that God\u2019s Wisdom is the only true wisdom drives me to seek God\u2019s wisdom each day, and there is no better way to do this than to meditate on God\u2019s book of Wisdom. Wisdom is the final frontier in gaining true knowledge. So we are on a daily trek to create a legacy of wisdom, to seek out discernment and insights, and to boldly grow where few have chosen to grow before. Today I will read Proverbs 2.

The Book of Proverbs - Chapter 2
The Benefits of Wisdom

1\xa0My child,[a]\xa0listen to what I say,
and treasure my commands.
2\xa0Tune your ears to wisdom,
and concentrate on understanding.
3\xa0Cry out for insight,
and ask for understanding.
4\xa0Search for them as you would for silver;
seek them like hidden treasures.
5\xa0Then you will understand what it means to fear the\xa0Lord,
and you will gain knowledge of God.
6\xa0For the\xa0Lord\xa0grants wisdom!
From his mouth come knowledge and understanding.
7\xa0He grants a treasure of common sense to the honest.
He is a shield to those who walk with integrity.
8\xa0He guards the paths of the just
and protects those who are faithful to him.

9\xa0Then you will understand what is right, just, and fair,
and you will find the right way to go.
10\xa0For wisdom will enter your heart,
and knowledge will fill you with joy.
11\xa0Wise choices will watch over you.
Understanding will keep you safe.

12\xa0Wisdom will save you from evil people,
from those whose words are twisted.
13\xa0These men turn from the right way
to walk down dark paths.
14\xa0They take pleasure in doing wrong,
and they enjoy the twisted ways of evil.
15\xa0Their actions are crooked,
and their ways are wrong.

16\xa0Wisdom will save you from the immoral woman,
from the seductive words of the promiscuous woman.
17\xa0She has abandoned her husband
and ignores the covenant she made before God.
18\xa0Entering her house leads to death;
it is the road to the grave.[b]
19\xa0The man who visits her is doomed.
