Today\u2019s quote is from Unknown, and it is: An educational system isn\u2019t worth a great deal if it teaches young people how to make a living but doesn\u2019t teach them how to make a life.
Making A Life


I understand that the educational systems throughout the world have an enormous task of preparing people for meaningful work that will benefit society and each individual life. However, with technology changing rapidly and commerce becoming ever more global, it is difficult at best to prepare for those changes. Nevertheless, we must prepare young and older people that learning is a lifetime endeavor to stay relevant in today\u2019s world. We must teach people how to think, learn, and gain wisdom. The skills needed today may be obsolete a decade from now. We must train everyone to take responsibility and be diligent in their advancement. We must instill in the populace that manual labor is just as crucial to society as the highly educated positions. We must teach everyone that common sense is just as critical as educational learning. We must instill within everyone that gaining wisdom about life is more important than preparing to make a living. God grants each of us the talents and abilities needed to fulfill our duties of building His kingdom on earth in preparation for his return when He finalizes that kingdom by establishing His global Eden where heaven and earth become one.

In view of all this, make every effort to respond to God\u2019s promises. Supplement your faith with a generous provision of moral excellence, and moral excellence with knowledge, and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with patient endurance, and patient endurance with godliness, and godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love for everyone.
