Welcome to Wisdom-Trek with Gramps. We are on Day 1936 of our Trek, and it’s time to explore another nugget of wisdom, which includes an inspirational quote and some wise words from Gramps for today’s trek. Wisdom is the final frontier in gaining true knowledge. So we are on a daily trek to create a legacy of wisdom, seek out discernment and insights, and boldly grow where few have chosen to grow before.

Hello, my friend; this is Gramps. Thanks for coming along on today’s trek as we increase Wisdom and Create a Living Legacy. https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Proverbs%2016%3A16andversion=NLT (Proverbs 16:16) How much better to get wisdom than gold, and sound judgment than silver! If you apply the words you hear today, over time, it will help you become more healthy, wealthy, and wise as you continue your daily trek of life. So let’s jump right in with today’s nugget:

Today’s quote is from St. Clement of Alexandria, and it is: All our life is a celebration for us; we are convinced that God is always everywhere. So we sing while we work...we pray while carrying out all life’s other occupations.
Life Is A Celebration

As Christ-followers, we have been granted not only everlasting life but life eternal. This fact alone should drive us to live in celebration each day. In John 10:10, Jesus said. The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life. Therefore, we should celebrate life every day. We should sing while we work and go about our activities. We should be in a spirit of prayer in everything that we do. Our lives should be filled with joy so everyone who observes us can see that we are filled with God’s Spirit. I understand that some days are complicated, and we will run into trying times, but even when we do, let us keep our eyes on Jesus as we are told in Hebrews 12:1-4. Therefore, since such a huge crowd of witnesses surrounds us to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us. We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. Because of the joy awaiting him, he endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Now he is seated in the place of honor beside God’s throne. Think of all the hostility he endured from sinful people; then you won’t become weary and give up. After all, you have not yet given your lives in your struggle against sin.

As you ponder this nugget of wisdom for yourself, please encourage your friends and family to join us and come along tomorrow for another day of ‘Wisdom-Trek, Creating a Legacy.’
