If you apply the words you hear today, over time, it will help you become more healthy, wealthy, and wise as you continue your daily trek of life. So let\u2019s jump right in with today\u2019s nugget:

Today\u2019s quote is from Arthur Golden, and it is: Adversity is like a strong wind. I don\u2019t mean just that it holds us back from places we might otherwise go. It also tears away from us all but the things that cannot be torn, so that afterward, we see ourselves as we really are, and not merely as we might like to be.
The Strong Wind of Adversity


If adversity is strong enough and lasts long enough, it will strip away all the chaff in our lives, so all that is left is the most solid. None of us like adversity, but it will purify us like the blazing heat of a smelter until all that is dross floats to the top to be scooped away from our lives. Adversity may delay us in life, but it will not prevent us from reaching what we most desire if that desire aligns with God\u2019s precept found in His Word.
