A Person Worth Following


We need to be very careful about who we follow and who influences our lives. As Christ-followers, we need to follow those who are followers of Christ themselves. The worldviews that we are forming are shaped by those we emulate. If we imitate someone whose lives are not fully grounded in God\u2019s Word, our worldview will become skewed and we will get off the path we should be following. We all have 168 hours per week; how we invest that time will determine the return on that investment. If we follow a person without the proper worldview, we will lose the return on our investment. First, we must know and follow God\u2019s precepts, and then we need to make sure those who are mentoring us are also grounded in God\u2019s Word. To do anything less is putting us in danger of failing in our spiritual walk.
