When speaking about a book, an index is an alphabetical list at the end of a book that shows the page where each item in the list can be found. An index is a pointer to where a particular record is located within a larger file or database in the computer programming world. Indexes are handy, but it only points to another location. So it is with our dreams. We can have lofty dreams that represent our potential, but it is not the result. To achieve greatness and success of any kind, we need to take action to make the dreams become our reality. Yes, dreams are essential because they lay the groundwork necessary to achieve in life. So dream, and dream big, but understand that they are just the pointers or indexes to real success.

But don\u2019t just listen to God\u2019s word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves. For if you listen to the word and don\u2019t obey, it is like glancing at your face in a mirror. You see yourself, walk away, and forget what you look like. But if you look carefully into the perfect law that sets you free, and if you do what it says and don\u2019t forget what you heard, then God will bless you for doing it.
