Know Yourself


One significant issue with so many people who live without a proper perspective of who they are as part of God\u2019s creation, struggle with themselves and their identity. We are created as an imager of God, and if we do not recognize and comprehend what this means, we cannot honestly image God as we should. Without the supreme confidence that we are God\u2019s masterpiece, we will continually struggle with self-identity. We will try to be someone of value based on our accomplishments. Ultimately this will lead to failure and disappointment in ourselves and all whom we interact with. It is time to know yourself through the marvelous grace that God provided to us through His son, our savior, Jesus Christ. If we cannot love and accept ourselves, we cannot love or accept other people in our lives. Know yourself as an imager of God.

God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can\u2019t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it. For we are God\u2019s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.
