How Much Faith Is Enough?
Faith is an exciting concept, and it depends on how comfortable and familiar we are with what we are putting our faith in. For most of us, when we sit down in a chair, we have faith that it will be strong enough to support us. It is because we have experience with and trust in most chairs. The same could be said for so many items we use every day, from beds to vehicles. We also have faith that the food we purchase won\u2019t make us sick or kill us. But, how much faith is enough to handle life daily? I would say, not very much faith is required to live a normal lifestyle without fear. Can we say the same about our faith in God? How much faith is necessary to trust that God will provide for our daily needs, keep us from harm, and guide our future? If we can have faith that a chair will support us, it should not even cross our minds that the creator of the universe, which includes you and me, can direct our lives for His purpose for us. We are as God\u2019s imagers, and as such, we are to project God into the lives of others. If we live fearful lives, what does that indicate of our trust and faith in God? Jesus Christ taught us that we just need a very small amount of faith as citizens of God\u2019s kingdom to move mountains and impact our world.

\u201cYou don\u2019t have enough faith,\u201d Jesus told them. \u201cI tell you the truth, if you had faith even as small as a mustard seed, you could say to this mountain, \u2018Move from here to there,\u2019 and it would move. Nothing would be impossible.\u201d
