This is Day 1457 of our Trek, and time for a 3-minute mini-trek called Humor Unplugged.\xa0Our Thursday podcast will provide a short and clean funny story to help you lighten up and live a rich and satisfying life.\xa0Something to cheer you and give a bit a levity in your life.\xa0We are told in\xa0 (https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Proverbs+17:22&version=NLT)\xa0A\xa0cheerful\xa0heart is good medicine, but a broken spirit saps a person\u2019s strength.\xa0Consider this your vitamin supplement of cheer for today.\xa0So let\u2019s jump right in with today\u2019s funny which is titled:
I Can\u2019t Believe It!Sam seemed to be late for just about everything.\xa0As was his habit, Sam was running a little behind schedule when he arrives at the movie theater to watch a movie that he was really looking forward to it. Although Sam was late, he figured maybe the previews were still playing, so he goes in to watch the movie that has already started.\xa0He sat there for several minutes, allowing his eyes to adjust to the darkness and immediately became engrossed in the movie.\xa0After a few minutes, he was surprised to see a dog sitting beside its master in the row ahead of him.\xa0Sam noticed that the dog was actually intently watching the movie.
The dog even seemed to be enjoying the movie: he was wagging its tail in the happy parts of the movie, drooping its ears at the sad parts, and hiding his eyes with its paws at the scary parts.\xa0Sam was so intrigued that it was getting hard to pay attention to the movie.
After the movie, Sam approached the dog's owner and exclaimed, \u201cWow, your dog really seemed to enjoy the movie. I'm amazed!\u201d
The owner looked at Sam with a proud look on his face and said, \u201cYes, I can't believe it myself. He hated the book.\u201dI hope that brought a smile to your face today.\xa0If it did pass your smile onto some else, we all could use a kind smile each day.\xa0Our Thursday thought is, \u201cOutside of a dog, a book is a man\u2019s best friend. Inside of a dog, it\u2019s too dark to read.\u201d
