Today’s quote is from Paul Dudley White, and it is, “A vigorous five-mile walk will do more good for an unhappy but otherwise healthy adult than all the medicine and psychology in the world.” A Vigorous Walk When you are unhappy or a bit depressed, I know that you may not feel like getting out and walking vigorously, but it is so much better for you than additional medicine or talking through your feelings with a therapist. It is also much less expensive. I am not saying that medication and therapist are not required at times, but have you tried vigorously walking daily as an alternative? If not, it is certainly worth trying. According to the Mayo Clinic, physical activity doesn’t need to be complicated. Something as simple as a brisk daily walk can help you live a healthier life.
