DIVE IN QUESTIONS

1. If you\u2019ve got time: feed your apocalyptic imagination by reading the following passages!

-Exodus 19:3-19 - Make sure to read the NIV footnote for verse 19!
-1 Kings 17:1 - No rain but by the word of Elijah.
-Psalm 29 - The God of Glory thunders (see his \u2018voice\u2019 7x). All cry, \u201cGlory!\u201d
-Jeremiah 5:14 - My word as fire in your mouth to devour the people as wood.
-Ezekiel 37:1-14 - The breath of life enters the dry bones and they stand and live.
-Daniel 12 - Angels by the river with a sealed scroll.
-Zechariah 2-4 - Measuring line. Priest and King: the \u201ctwo olive trees.\u201d
-Matthew 17:1-13 - Moses & Elijah with Jesus, disappear in the cloud of God\u2019s presence.

Can you think of other passages or Biblical images that feed John\u2019s imagination (or yours!) as he writes Revelation 10-11 or as you hear it read?
